WHEN YOUR CAREER CHANGES BEFORE YOU EXPECTED IT TO
A career change shouldn't force a rushed financial decision.
You've spent years building your career, your income and your retirement savings. Then suddenly, a layoff or unexpected transition changes the picture.
Your Wealth Pivot helps you understand what you have, what decisions actually need to be made now, and what may be better left untouched, so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Gain clarity before you act
A private Zoom conversation about what you have, what needs attention now and what may be better left untouched.
We keep a limited number of review appointments available so each conversation receives the attention it deserves.
What we'll cover in your Wealth Pivot Review
Your review is a private Zoom conversation centered around your situation, your assets and the decisions in front of you.
We may discuss:
- Your current financial position following a career change
- Your options for an existing 401(k) or retirement account
- How much liquidity you may need while your income is changing
- Which decisions require attention now and which may not
- How your existing financial strategy fits with your current circumstances
There is no cost for the review and no obligation to make changes.
Most reviews take approximately 30 minutes. We reserve up to 60 minutes to prioritize any questions or concerns you may have.
Clarity before action.
Your situation comes first
We begin by understanding what has changed, what you already have and what matters most to you.
Understand before deciding
We help you examine the available options, tradeoffs and questions worth asking before taking action.
You remain in control
The final say is yours. Our role is simply to be a guide so that you can gain greater clarity and confidence in your decisions.
One transition can create a lot of moving pieces.
A career change rarely affects just one part of your financial life.
As questions arise, Your Wealth Pivot can help you identify which decisions deserve attention and which type of professional may be best equipped to help.
Through our professional network, we may be able to connect you with CPAs and tax professionals, bookkeepers, estate planning attorneys, real estate professionals, health insurance professionals, and career or business resources.
Our goal is not to be everything to everyone. It is to help you understand what kind of help you may need, then connect you with trusted professionals when the question falls outside our scope.
"You don't need to know exactly who to call first. Start here."
Professionals in our network are independent and provide their own services.

MEET THE CREATOR
Meet Mei Acosta
Before creating Your Wealth Pivot, I originally launched an initiative called “Teacher Retirement Peace” to help public school employees better understand their retirement benefits and the financial decisions surrounding them.
As that work grew, I began hearing from more and more people outside of the public school system who were navigating layoffs, career changes, former employer retirement accounts, and other major financial transitions.
The questions were different, but the need was the same: people wanted clarity before making decisions that could affect the next chapter of their lives.
That became the inspiration for Your Wealth Pivot, a resource designed to help people navigate financial uncertainty with greater clarity, confidence, and access to the right professionals when needed. You may meet with me or a member of our team.
